They shall overcome!
Arlington’s cemetery has a dubious historical background, but it too overcame!
The Sleeping Soldiers Watch
by Tamara Heater
When tyrants brag, and dictators roar
and drag their countrymen through the streets
there is someone watching
and their planning your defeatMillions of young soldiers lay
sleeping their young lives away
but what stirs them from their sleep
is the clang of prison bars
and chains dragging in defeatAnd they will rouse the Commanders ear
and turn his set gaze toward you
and before that you can run and hide
this army shall be upon youAll decked out, red white and blue
and stealy grey machine
so silent it will creep upon you,
that you were here and now are there,
and someone’s there to greet youIt matters not if inside or out
do not think your safe
as long as there are minds toward slavery
there will always be a tanka plane, a gun, a battleship
that is headed out to sea
preferable to other shores to set the captive free
but if it is ever needed, I think we need not fearOur young sleeping soldiers
watch here at home just as much as there,
that if there’s ever trouble
it won’t last for long
for detailed men listen to the wind for the
young sleeping soldiers songIf ever sung for the homeland, woe be unto you
for you will receive twice as much
as what they gave for you
So live the day and do not fear
for the watchers in the skyTheir names recorded in white stone
and stretch along the miles
Those are just the ones you know about
that flow from freedoms blood
this nation is quite secure being led from God aboveFor if when they ever return
and the armies mount
then there will not be just millions,
but behind them billions more
for they are not just from this life
but from the many lives beforeFor if they ever have to come
there will be no end
until all tyrants minds are numb,
and dictators all are deadNow the sleeping soldiers live
and where that they once slept
will be the grave of tyrants
but no stones will mark their death
for tyrants graves are never marked
nor called to memoryOnly fields of flowers, grass and trees
we shall see from malls first point
and no more symbols shall mark the ground
and no more talk of warAnd all the people of the earth said, Amen!
My each soldier know with out a single doubt thay are loved! God bless America, and God bless our troops!
